LEED Certification - Building 12, a completed 189,000-square-foot multi-tenant warehouse distribution facility incorporates sustainable features, including high-efficiency lighting, extensive use of recycled and locally sourced materials, durable concrete driveways and white roofs that help reduce heat-island effects. Building 12 achieved LEED® Gold Certification. It is the first industrial facility in South Florida to achieve this prestigious certification. High-Efficiency Lighting - In 2007, Prologis Park Beacon Lakes changed its lighting standard from Metal Halide to High Output T5 lamps (T5HO). The new fixtures offer many advantages. T5 lights are 30 percent more energy efficient than Metal Halide lamps. They turn on instantly and are compatible with occupancy and daylighting sensors, offering additional electrical cost saving.

ESFR Fire Protection Systems

EARLY SUPPRESSION FAST RESPONSE systems means more water per square foot at a greater water pressure. This translates into lower insurance cost for out tenants. This advancement in the sprinkler technology has revamped the rulebooks on fire control and yielded systems that can effectively suppress fires before they gain foothold.
